PALTEK CORPORATION, since its foundation, has been conducting business based on the corporate philosophy of “Kyo-sei,” by which we mean that we create win-win or cooperate relationship with various partners, driving for co-prosperity with investors, customers, suppliers, and employees.
We believe that mutual understanding and respect are the key aspects of realizing information security for one another.
In the society where the paradigm shift has changed from valuing “Mass production, Standard, and Quantity” to the society emphasizing more about “Individuality, Uniqueness, and Quality,” the importance of information security is becoming even more crucial. Hence, we hereby set following security policies to enforce Information security within the company.

Recognize information security to be one of the most important management issues and always include it in our risk management. |

Consider information to be one of the most important business assets, and develop and enforce Information Security Management System in order to protect all important information including our customers’ information against any threats.

Promise to comply all appricable laws and regulations related to information security.

Set forth “Corporate Information Security Policy” and state the responsibilities of the company and its officers and employees clearly. Continue to educate and train our employees regarding the importance of information security, and the rules and means to protect such informtaion.

In order to keep up with ever-evolving and endless threats to today’s complex security management, continuous efforts and improvement will be made in our rules and means and carry out security management efficiently and without failure. |

On December 21, 2004, PALTEK CORPORATION successfully obtained the certificate of Information Security Management System (ISMS). The assessment was carried out by Tohmatsu Evaluation and Certification Organization (TECO) Japan.

| 2. The Purpose of ISMS |
PALTEK has emphasized the importance of Information Security in every aspect of business conducts as one of the most important responsibilities by setting clear “Privacy Policy” and taking various technical measures. To further improve security of such important information, PALTEK formed ISMS project in May 2004, which especially aim at securing such confidential and personal information offered from our customers, suppliers and investors. We started the project by closely analyzing potential risks regarding information security within the company, and based on such analysis, we established company-wide security rules. In September of 2004, PALTEK Security Policy was newly established and all the employees went through the training program on the new Policy and rules. Through these activities, PALTEK was successfully certified and obtained ISMS Certificate in December, 2004.
All the employees and officers at PALTEK will continue to meet ISMS certification standard and make efforts to further improve information security management. |
