    Company History
    PALTEK was founded by Tadahito Takahashi in 1982, as an importer and distributor of innovative ICs and softwares. Originally offering MMI PAL, PALTEK introduced CMOS PLDs to the Japanese market. It has built its business with Altera high-density EPLDs and development systems, and continues to leverage its technical expertise to launch new products and services. Remarkable for a new entrant into the electronics distribution industry, PALTEK has been honored with a directorship in the Distributor's Association of Foreign Semiconductors, and chairs the Trade Mission Committee. 

    1982 October Establishment of PALTEK Corporation in Yokohama
    1984 October Relocated office to Shibuya / Tokyo
    1985 June Distribution agreement with Altera Corporation (USA)
    　(Distribution Agreement with Altera was terminated in March 2006)
    1986 September Relocated head office to Setagaya / Tokyo
    1987 February Started business with SONY Atsugi plant
    1987 October  Started business with NEC 
    1992 November Relocated head office to Yokohama / Kanagawa
    1994 April Established Osaka branch
    1995 December  Relocated head office to Shin-Yokohama 
    1998 July Initial Public offering 
    1998 September Relocated the logistic centre to Machida / Tokyo
    1998 October Acquisition of ALPHA Denshi 
    2000 June Acquisition of SPINNAKER Systems by stock swap
    2002 March Established ALPHA Electron Hong Kong with ALPHA Denshi
    2003 March Obtained the certification of Environment management system ISO14001
    2004 December Obtained certification of Information Security Management System (ISMS)
    2006 January  Distribution agreement signed with Xilinx, Inc (USA)  
    2006 May Acquisition of NS Microelectronics, Co.,Ltd
    2007 November Obtained certificate of ISO27001 (JIS Q 27001) security management system
    2009 April Consolidated 2 wholly-owned subsidiaries, Alpha Electronics and NS Microelectronics.
    PALTEK Osaka Sales Office is renamed as "West Japan Branch"
    2010 April Following the merger of the Osaka Securities Exchange and JASDAQ Securities Exchange, listed on the Osaka Securities Exchange JASDAQ market.
    2011 November Acquired ISO9001
