ESG Initiatives

PALTEK's management philosophy is "coexistence with diverse beings."
A person cannot live alone. Born and alive in the diverse presences that surround me. Therefore, it is necessary to recognize and respect each other's existence, share strengths and complement weaknesses. The spirit of caring for this is the starting point of PALTEK's management spirit.

The beautiful earth, the irreplaceable nature, and the people who live in it. It is necessary to practice the "ideal of symbiosis" to live together with compassion for other people.

Based on this management philosophy, PALTEK is making the following efforts for ESG.

Initiatives for SDGs

In September 2015, the United Nations General Assembly formulated the “Sustainable Development Goals” as a global effort to realize a sustainable future for issues such as climate change, energy, health and employment.

It sets 17 goals and 169 targets that the entire international community, including developed countries, should work on.

世界を変えるための17の目標

PALTEK's approach to SDGs

The SDGs have a basic philosophy of "Leave no one left behind" and are set as goals for people in all countries and regions to tackle in both developed and developing countries.

And in order to achieve the goal, not only the government, but also companies, NGOs and NPOs, and people with various backgrounds are connected, making good use of each other, You need to be creative.
The SDGs philosophy is in many ways similar to our philosophy.

Our management philosophy of "coexistence with diverse beings" originates from Yakushima, where the founder Takahashi was born and raised.

In Yakushima, a wide variety of plants and trees stand on their own in a harsh natural environment and play their respective roles while coexisting with each other. We are creating a rich forest. Yakusugi, the symbol of the forest, does not exist as a single giant tree, It has lived for thousands of years while coexisting with the diverse plants around it.

In the forest, which has been lasting for thousands of years, various creatures have their respective roles.

Looking back on the current society, we are changing from an era in which everything is completed in one company to an era in which diverse companies coexist with each other. In order to create a sustainable society, we bring the strengths of each company together and seriously face social issues, It is essential to work together to solve the problem.

In such a society, we identify true needs (explicit and potential demands of customers), As a useful intermediary and solution supplier that connects with seeds (the seeds of business that meet those requirements) We are developing business activities.

As a member of the international community, PALTEK Co., Ltd. will contribute to the realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through its business activities based on the management philosophy of "Coexistence with diverse beings". "
